To better focus on operational issues and opportunities, EF
Transit, Inc. was formed in 1996 to assume Monarch Beverage’s
transportation and warehouse operations. EF Transits customer
base includes Monarch Beverage, seven other beer distributors,
four breweries and a trailer manufacturer in Terre Haute, among
others. Significant business is derived from relationships with
Miller and Coors Brewing Companies.
In connection with its over the road operations, EF Transit
has a competitive advantage over other freight companies because
of the continual movement of beer products for Monarch Beverage
Company, Inc. In addition, EF Transit can step in for other
distributors and breweries when service levels are in jeopardy;
adding significant value for the customer. EF Transit serves
customers in the states of Indiana and Ohio.
EF Transit currently has a staff of nine drivers, approximately
30 vehicles, 72 delivery drivers and 75 warehouse employees.
The continual movement of Monarch's products gives EFT a competitive advantage over other freight companies.
