401(k) Retirement Plan

Full-time or part-time employees who are 21 years of age or older are eligible to participate in the plan upon the first pay period of the month following completion of 3 months of continuous employment. The 401(k) savings plan allows participating employees to contribute up to 50% of their 401(k) eligible compenstation into an investment account and to direct the investments in that account.

Monarch Beverage will make matching contributions in an amount equal to 100% of the first 2% in eligible compensation deferred and 50% of the next 4% in eligible compensation deferred (not to exceed 6%).

AFLAC

Monarch allows its employees to purchase from AFLAC, a supplement income policy to provide disability and in-come benefits resulting from an injury or illness. Upon the end of employment with Monarch, this policy can be moved to another company offering AFLAC or can be continued privately. AFLAC pays benefits directly to the employee. Employees pay the cost of any elected AFLAC coverage by means of payroll deductions.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Monarch contracts with a third-party provider to provide confidential and voluntary assistance to all employees and their immediate family members who may be faced with the challenges of financial concerns, legal issues, alcohol or drug problems, relationship problems, illness of a family member, emotional worries, child care problems, or other emotionally disturbing circumstances.

Health Insurance

Monarch Beverage’s health insurance plan provides full-time employees who qualify for coverage under the plan and their dependents access to medical insur¬ance benefits. Eligibility for this benefit begins upon the first day of the first month following completion of the first 90 days of continuous employment.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Monarch Beverage provides the opportunity to con¬tribute to a Health Saving Account (HSA). An HSA is a tax favored account used in conjunction with a qualify¬ing health plan defined by the IRS. HSA dollars can be used to pay for qualified medical expenses applied to the deductible and for expenses which may not be covered by the health plan.

Disability

Monarch Beverage provides long-term (LTD) and short-term (STD) disability benefit plans to full-time employees at no cost.  This benefit applies to employees who have met the continuous employment requirements at Monarch.
